My 1st Winter Trip in Abu Dhabi, UAE

What's up Madlang Pipz.... It's me again Ghie, hour storyteller of the day.

Winter is the most awaited season here in the Middle East. Most of the local and expat residents as well as travellers, look forward to it. One main reason is the opening of many seasonal magnificent destinations, just like the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi. 

Are you familiar with the Global Village in Dubai? The Sheikh Zayed Festival is its replica in Abu Dhabi. However, they have different story to tell.

Nestled in the heart of the United Arab Emirates, the Sheikh Zayed Festival stands as a testament to the rich cultural heritage and visionary leadership of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE. This vibrant festival, held annually in the Al Wathba region of Abu Dhabi, is a dazzling showcase of Emirati tradition, art, and innovation.

Mandatory selfie at Main Bus Terminal - Al Wahda Mall. For your information, there is a free ride pick up and drop going to Al Wathba just base on their posted timings.

Another page was added to my book of life. I really enjoyed it, specially with a bonus of having on-the-go travel buddies. 

If you want to spend your winter days here in Abu Dhabi, I strongly recommend visiting Al Wathba for the Sheikh Zayed Festival and witnessing their fireworks display and drone show every New Year's Eve. 

I missed it this time, but hopefully I will not miss it this coming New Year's Eve 🤞🤞🤞.
