Guimaras Island is actually just a few hours away from my hometown; however, I've only had one chance to explore its beauty. After long, tiring days and overwhelming stress at work, my colleagues and I decided to recharge and relax our minds. While browsing the internet for a suitable place to do so, one of them suddenly suggested Guimaras Island, and we all gave a thumbs-up reaction.

Guimaras is an island province in the Philippines, located in Region VI (Western Visayas). It lies in the Panay Gulf, between the islands of Panay and Negros. The province consists mainly of Guimaras Island and several smaller islets, including Nagarao Island.

Since it's my first time organizing a group trip to Guimaras, let's go for it! Let's explore the hidden gem of Nagarao Island.

Day 1 - denim shorts (lower), any (upper)

Actually, we are 5, but of course, 1 should be our official photographer. But anyway, we will reveal his identity later. Also, I just want to share how pressured I am because of our OOTD. Given that having a "Coca-Cola" body, I need to comply with our agreed outfit of the day. 

 

These are their available amenities. But sadly, we missed enjoying it because there were so many "bakasyonista" visiting the place at that time. 

As part of their night activity, they also have a bonfire. All of us were very much excited but we missed it. We missed it because we are busy changing our OOTD as planned. However, night pictorials, getting wasted and night swimming are the main purposes. And at last, WE MADE IT! 

Day 2 - Floral Dress

This was the most unforgettable part of our trip because, in our excitement, we forgot the room key inside, and there was no spare key at the reception. They had to come up with a solution to open our room. "Bal-an na nyu na kon anu na mean ko. LOL" (You'll know what I mean. LOL)

Before I forget, this is the most awaited part of all, the "budget reveal".  Any guess? So, it is only Php 1,000.00 per pax with the inclusion of fares (land trips and ferry), meals (own cooked), accommodation for a night, and an island hopping fee. 

(This is a DIY trip and some charges may vary from time to time)
